BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Embryologist (level 1) in the healthcare industry is a post graduate in Life Sciences or Medicine and has completed training in “Intensive Certificate Course in Clinical Embryology & ART”

This module is aimed at training candidates for the job of an “Embryologist (Level 1)”, in the “Healthcare” Sector and aims at building the following key competencies.

  • Perform semen analysis
  • Prepare semen for ART procedures
  • Cryopreserve and thaw human spermatozoa
  • Cryopreserve and thaw human oocyte, zygote and embry
  • Carry out In vitro fertilization of human oocytes
  • Perform ICSI (Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection)
