MOMSOON Academy

MOMSOON faculty members are leaders in the field of IVF and ART for over 20 years. The objective of our team is to maintain the academic regulations that offer the highest educational standards possible to the students of MOMSOON.
The programmes will be taught by the faculty at the University and also by the clinicians and embryologists at MOMSOON Fertility unit. Each faculty is committed to provide excellent teaching, learning and research experience.
Once enrolled for a programme, students will be allocated a Mentor, who will provide individual support and guidance throughout the course and will meet regularly to discuss coursework and assessment. This level of individual support is a prominent and highly acclaimed feature of our programmes and will provide the support necessary for students to achieve maximum benefit from their studies.

Emphasis is placed directly on our students acquiring ‘hands on’ experience, facilitated by experienced scientific and clinical instructors. Our students will receive regular professional development through seminars and workshops delivered by internal and external staff. A variety of teaching methods will be employed to enhance and optimise student learning, e.g. class lectures, group tutorials, laboratory practical classes, and in-house demonstrations by visiting companies.

  • M.Sc., M.Phil, Ph.D. (Biochemistry) with extensive research experience spanning nearly two decades across leading institutions in India.
  •  Research Assistant under NIH-sponsored Indo-US Project (RO1 Grant) at the Dept. of Neurochemistry and Neurology, NIMHANS (2006–2007).
  • Junior Research Fellow (DST) and Research Associate (ICMR), both at the Division of Biological Sciences, Bangalore University (2010–2015).
  • Assistant Professor for the UGC-sanctioned One-Year PG Diploma in Clinical Embryology and ART, Dept. of Life Science, Bangalore University, in collaboration with Momsoon IVF Centre (2016–2025).
  •  Recipient of the prestigious K.P. Sinha – P.S. Krishnan Award and ACBI Travel Fellowship Award by the Association of Clinical Biochemists of India (2008), and cleared K-SET in Life Sciences (2016).
  •  UGC-BSR Research Start-Up Grant of ₹10 Lakhs awarded by UGC, New Delhi (2017–2020).
  • 25+ research papers published in reputed national and international journals, and attended 35+ national and international conferences across India.
  •  Life Member of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR – 004693), Karnataka Chapter of ISAR, and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA).

  • Dr. Anitha S is an accomplished Gynaecologist, Laparoscopic Surgeon and Reproductive Medicine Consultant with over a decade of clinical experience in obstetrics, gynaecology and infertility management.
  • She has served as a Consultant at reputed fertility and multi-speciality hospitals in Bangalore and Karnataka, where she managed a wide spectrum of complex infertility and gynaecological cases.
  • Her dual expertise in minimally invasive surgery and reproductive medicine lets her diagnose and treat the underlying causes of infertility with precision, offering every couple an evidence-based, individualised treatment plan.

  • Dr. Aruna's expertise as an Infertility Specialist is backed by over a decade of experience. Dr. Aruna and MOMSOON team have helped hundreds of infertile couples have babies through Assisted Reproduction.
  • She is one of the pioneers in the treatment of infertility and has trained over a 100 gynaecologists. Most of the gynaecologists trained at MOMSOON have established their own IVF Centre and are able to independently perform all the procedures of ART.
  • Dr. Aruna actively participates in meetings and conferences conducted by National and International Organizations and she is also invited as a guest speaker regularly. She keeps herself updated with the latest developments in the field and is responsible for standardizing the ART techniques offered at MOMSOON.
